Equine Sports Massage:
During the massage I use compression and direct pressure to spread the
fibers of the muscles, freeing restrictions and adhesions. This allows
the blood supply to flow more easily, carrying oxygen and other nutrients
to the muscles and at the same time, removing metabolic waste. Equine
Sports Massage is always done as a full body massage I use only my hands so I can feel the muscle
tension and adhesions on the horse. This is a non-invasive, very
powerful therapy used for injured muscles and for muscle maintenance.
Reiki:
This is a gentle, hands on session utilizing the bodies own life force energy to facilitate healing.
Requirements:
Please have the horse brushed out.
Allow at least one hour per session
For all first time sessions each horse must have a handler present at all times.
The horse must have be walked for at least 10 minutes after each session.
No dogs or other animals wandering into the working space for safety reasons.
